I met a fairy princess today.
Golden and fair, she was, with bright mossy eyes and a smile that curved up,
like consonants.

She shared her dust with me
Dust like the freckles on her nose

I called her brother

She shared her friends with me, and her kindness
We fought side-by-side, blade-by-blade, and for the first time in my life, I had many brothers.

She shared her king with me, and her king's Sword
In them, I knew love.

Then she sent me forth
Then she took my king, and made a demon of him
Then she led the world to ruin

Then she killed my bff

Gaston.

I met a fairy princess today, but it turned out she was not a fairy, or a princess, at all.
