I'm glad Pein/Konan and NaruSasuSaku triumphed in the end (even in crack HS AU doujin, I'm pairingtarded about certain things :P), but Sasuke trying to be something he wasn't was hilarious. Almost like a parody or an allegory of what's happened in canon, actually. Sasuke was so cute in this doujin and so was Itachi. If Sasuke were that cute in canon, I think I'd feel a lot more amenable to the guy. I recced the doujin in my LJ.
